“My name is JSCA, I’m an Alt Pop artist blending elements of different Latin music with western style pop. As a British Latina I’m constantly inspired by the unique space in the music industry that I occupy, drawing from my rich heritage and the pop culture that surrounds me in London.”

“Sustainable fashion to me is important not only because it’s important to be conscious of the environment but I also love the idea that the second hand clothes or vintage clothes I wear have a story before me, someone else wore it and lived a life in the clothes. I also think that it makes it all the more satisfying when you find that one gem in a charity shop.”

SCROLL THROUGH TO GET TO KNOW THE BRANDS

Vandrélaar is a London-based women's footwear brand that was founded with the clear objective of merging timeless design with quality craftsmanship.

Victoria André, the founder and designer behind the brand, develops her design-led collections with integrity and sustainability at the forefront: by producing less, slowing the fashion cycle down, and using materials that are gentler on the planet.

Inspired by her international and multicultural upbringing, the Vandrélaar world is one that embraces the hybrid identities that shape all modern-day women, and strikes the perfect balance between effortless style and quiet luxury.

Timna Weber is a sustainable slow-fashion label based out of London and Vienna. Inspired by abstract art, Timna Weber merges and mixes sustainable materials to create assemblages of garments.

“My practice merges material sustainability – the fabrics, techniques, and ways of production – with an exploration into emotional sustainability. The collections consist of a mix of knitwear and tailored pieces and the majority of the garments are limited editions and made-to-order garments in order to avoid overproduction.

My care for the environment and well-made clothing is largely inspired by growing up in the Austrian countryside and in an environmentally conscious household. It only seemed natural to me to convey this in my brand and work in a sustainable way as much as possible.

In addition, my research into emotional longevity of garments inspires me to revisit our relationship with garments beyond the purchase and far into the 'use phase', exploring design alterations and modularity.”

Founded by Australian-born and London-based designer Lily Rose Dambelli, LR.D is a conscious, contemporary womenswear label born with a vision to create a wardrobe for the modern woman - one that not only celebrates the woman herself, but also the local craftspeople who produce it and the natural environment that provides us with the raw materials.

There’s no perfect way to be sustainable, but a fierce commitment to using responsible materials and production methods with a low environmental impact is woven through the seams of every LR.D garment.

Made locally in London for fair living wages and in small production runs, we aim to inspire conscious consumption habits, ensure garment longevity and advocate for transparent supply chains.

AURUM.Ldn is your modern neighbourhood gold shop, offering solid gold jewellery & piercings, a pre-loved collection and a scrap service.

With roots stemming up north, AURUM.Ldn was born from a love of big, brash jewels mixed with fine pieces, think pawn shop creoles with delicate huggies. It’s all about gold, REAL GOLD! Whether that’s new or pre-loved.

“I offer the pre-loved collection as gold is something that holds worth commercially and sentimentally. For us it’s all about slow fashion and forever pieces. Think of your AURUM.Ldn jewellery as soon-to-be vintage heirlooms to pass on yourself in the future.

In order to pass something on it needs to last and gold is highly valued for its qualities , it does not tarnish or fade with time.

Gold has a limited global supply with an increasing demand. We may soon find ourselves in a world where mining and extraction from the earth’s crust may not be economically or sustainably feasible.

It is now more important than ever to facilitate the recycling of gold. We also take scrap gold in exchange for an AURUM.Ldn credit voucher to help you get to get that piece you've been eyeing.”
